The Process- made simple
1) Initial Consultation
This is free and gives us a chance to hear your ideas & ascertain how feasible they are. We would normally spend 1-2 hrs at your property talking through your ideas/ requirements and giving advise.
2) Measured Survey
Measured survey of the existing property and production of computerised scale plans and elevations.
3) Design drawings
Brief collection & concept design, plans & sketches. Design development drawings.
4) Planning
Submission of planning application drawings and documentation to local council for planning approval. Once this is gained we produce:-
5) Building Regulations
Building Regulation Drawings to comply with government legislation. The appliaction is submitted prior to construction.
6) Tendering
Additional information added to dwgs in order that competetive tenders can be sought. We aim for several tenders, analyse them & subsequently appoint a contractor.
7) Party Wall Agreement
Party Wall agreements can be negotiated with any relevant neighbouring properties.
8) Construction
Construction drawings, site support & liaison.
9) Project Management
We offer a project management service for clients who wish us to oversee the whole process from inception to completion.
